Shinrin Yoku (Forest Bathing)
Le Shinrin Yoku is a practice of Japanese origin which translates “forest bath“. It is a very slow contemplative walk that allows us to come into contact with nature with all our senses.
Among others, these maples, birches, beeches, pines, firs, hemlocks, spruces, etc. which release phytoncides, contribute to the reduction of stress, the proper functioning of the immune system, the regulation of blood pressure and the development of better cardiovascular health.
Duration 3 hours, including a wild tea ceremony.

Celine Bouchard
During her thirty-year career in urban planning, your trainer Céline Bouchard was particularly interested in the protection and development of natural environments in Montreal. Greatly passionate about mushrooms and wild plants for healing and nourishment, she followed training in the identification and collection of non-timber forest products (NTFP). In 2016, she created her company, the Vitaforêt workshop, whose mission is to raise awareness of NTFPs through training and harvesting activities in respect of the natural environment.
