Since 2009, this variety has been carefully selected and grown at its Val-aux-Vents farm, located in Saint-Valérien, Quebec. We are proud to take part in the conservation and reproduction of this variety by producing seeds in our gardens atÉcoumène ! The bulbs of the Val-aux-Vents shallot are recognizable by their rounded shape and their average size of 60 grams. However, when grown with more space, they can reach even more impressive dimensions, requiring special attention from the grower. Their taste is exceptionally sweet, making them ideal for a multitude of culinary recipes. They also keep very well, allowing prolonged use.
